MEMORIES OF HOLY GHOST CHURCH AND SCHOOL
I remember:

- Walking in line from the school to the Five Points.

- Playing "Buck-Buck" during recess.

- A candy bar from Father Billinger after serving Mass.

- The air-raid drills.

- Staying after school to clean.

- 8th Grade picnic to Hershey Park.

- The May Procession.

- Breakfast in school after Friday morning Mass.

- The feast of the Three Wise Men. Msgr. Fasig would write the names of the Three Wise Men over each    classroom door.

- Father Billinger's visits to our home / annual coal collection.

- Being caught smoking in the Casino by Father Billinger.

- The Holy Ghost Mens Choir.

- Christmas Midnight Mass.

Above are some of my memories. Please email your memories to be added here.

From Pat Hrycko, Fountain Hill:

I remember crossing on Wyndotte Hill and Summit at the blinking light on my way to school with my friends.  My friend's father was officer Snyder, who was always there to see us across safely.
